Working principle
The ice machine system operates in 2 processes including:
- Ice making process: Ice is pumped to the water tank above the ice machine and flows inside the ice tubes (heat exchanger tubes), the very low temperature refrigerant outside the ice tube transfers heat indirectly through the pipe wall. . The water gradually recrystallized into ice inside the tube until completely solidified and adhered to the wall of the tube.
- Defrost process: At this time, to separate the ice from the tube, people increase the temperature of the medium outside the ice tube, the contact surface between the ice tube and the pipe wall will melt and fall down thanks to gravity. At the same time, the stone cutter is operated to cut the ice into small pieces and bring it out through the discharge throat. At the end of the freezing process, the system continues to cool the refrigerant to make ice, so that the ice making process is carried out cyclically and continuously.
