Description

  • The evaporator is in the form of a beam tube with a horizontal shell, at both ends with a pipe screen and an inlet and outlet compartment. Refrigerant and liquid to be cooled in tube or in shell.
  • The heat exchanger tubes are firmly machined to the sieve face by welding or expansion (tube expansion).
  • The number of pipes determines the heat exchange area of the device.
  • The tubes and shells can be damaged by the expansion agents when freezing, so it is necessary to strictly control the freezing temperature of the substances during work.

Working principle

  • The horizontal beam-tube evaporator operates on the principle of indirect heat exchange through the tube wall between the refrigerant (liquid refrigerant gas or vapor) and the liquid to be cooled (water, glycol or oil...). To enhance the efficiency of heat exchange, people design the movement of substances inside and outside the shell in the direction of perpendicular or diagonal. Depending on the specific application, people arrange the refrigerant and the liquid to be cooled in the tube or outside the shell accordingly.
